MedHyve partners up with Diversey to drive awareness on Infection Prevention and Control!

MedHyve marked its partnership with global sanitation leader Diversey with an executive webinar held last October 15, 2021 called “Infection Prevention & Control for Healthcare Facilities” This closed-door event welcomed various infectious disease experts as well as senior hospital executives to share their insights in dealing with infection prevention, control and management for healthcare facilities in the new normal. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the digital event aimed to drive awareness to the significance of an effective IPC program. The webinar sparked a discussion on how Covid-19 has reshaped our standards of sanitation and disinfection. The event was joined by hundreds of clinicians and health practitioners that wished to enrich their knowledge and understanding of infectious diseases and its transmission.

Meet the Speakers

‘Infection Prevention & Control for Healthcare Facilities’ welcomed various industry experts and professionals. In attendance were speakers Nicolo Andrei A. Añonuevo the Associate Director of Nursing Professional Practice, Career Development, and Standards (OIC), Sravan Kumar the Deputy Director Quality and Risk Management of Zulekha Hospitals (UAE), Sibel Aksu Altun the Platform Lead of Infection Prevention in Emerging Markets Diversey (Turkey), Ono Sanggalang the Head of Housekeeping of Mt Grace Group of Hospitals, John Domel Picoc Hospital Infection Preventionist of Pasig Doctors Medical Center and Catherine Ibarra the Director of Patient Services of University of Cebu Medical Center.

Some highlights of the webinar include keynote discussions regarding maintaining an effective infection prevention and control unit, international case studies on setting up an infection prevention and control program, presentations on modes of infectious disease transmission as well as a panel discussion that centered on How Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Changed with the Pandemic.
